See Something, Say Something Tip Link

Written by on . Posted in *District News, Featured Posts, HS News

In an effort to respond quickly to any potential threat to student safety, the district has added a new tip link to our webpage.  The “See Something, Say Something” Tip Link allows parents, students, or community members to alert building principals and our School Resource Officer of any safety concerns.  Information can be shared, and images uploaded, and sent directly to school administration.  Our district is committed to the safety and well-being of our school and community.  The “See Something, Say Something” and “Dignity for All Students Act” form links are located on top right hand corner of the Cazenovia CSD homepage and looks like this image below.

Middle School and High School parents and guardians are invited to attend a Parent Information Session next Wednesday, January 30th at 6 p.m. in the Large Group Instruction (L.G.I.) Room at the High School. Experts from the Madison County Stop DWI and Bridges Programs will be sharing a parent information session titled “Vaping & Current Trends.” Following the presentation, parents will be invited to explore “Hidden Mischief”, a mock set up of a teen’s bedroom containing items that may indicate possible drug use or use of e-cigarettes. The Middle and High School faculties have been offered this program and overwhelming feedback resulted in the program being brought back for parents. We hope that you will join us on the 30th.

French Students Reviewed Content in Creative Way

Written by on . Posted in *District News, HS News

Junior French students recently reviewed French history content creatively through raps/songs.  A special treat was a surprise guest… Mr. Wakeman (trumpet), the high school band teacher, to help accompany Cavy Monahan (tuba) and Mackenzie Waite (vocals) as they presented their song for the class.  Bravo!
