Administration Completes Two Day Summer Retreat
The Cazenovia Central School District administrative team recently completed their summer retreat at the Colgate Inn in Hamilton, NY. The July 9th and July 10th administrative retreat was facilitated by Dr. Kevin Baughman, a well-known and respected public-school administrator, who recently retired as Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the Educational Leadership programs at The College of Saint Rose.

Dr. Baughman led the administrative team through intense and focused goal setting activities based on the Cazenovia Central School District’s Strategic Plan. The team was split into three diverse groups and developed SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time dependent) goals for the three different pillars of our Strategic Plan (Communication, Engagement, and Wellness). The Administrative Team will continue to refine and enhance these goals, while developing action items for the goals throughout the summer.
CCSD teachers and department leaders will soon engage in activities that will develop awareness of these SMART goals and action plans and identify ways to support and accomplish district-wide initiatives during a leadership activity, on Tuesday, August 27. The August 27th activity will also be facilitated by Dr. Kevin Baughman.
The district is focused and excited to continue the efforts and dedication from the task force members and implementation teams to reach our District’s mission.
Cazenovia Central School District Mission:
