Burton Street… home of the Blue Waves. Burton Street’s official mascot is the Blue Wave which provides a symbol that unites our school. Our young students are catching the wave by showing Pride in all they do, Respect for the students and staff, and by their Honesty, Caring and Responsibility they show each and every day. When you visit Burton please take time to check our Character Ed Posters to see the many ways our students show Pride, Respect, Honesty, Caring andResponsibility towards others. We have extended our Blue Wave to our community by the various community service projects and the letters community members write and send in telling us how they “caught” our students catching the wave. We encourage our students to “Catch the Wave” as we continue on our character education journey!
