Cazenovia students participate in SUNY Cobleskill’s Ag High School Day

By Ms. Millen On Friday September 19th twenty-four agriculture students from Cazenovia traveled to SUNY Cobleskill for their annual Ag High School Day. There they joined hundreds of other students from all over central and eastern New York for competitions, tours, and demonstrations. Students were able to test their skills in twenty-two different competitions including animal evaluation, equipment operation, plant identification, engine troubleshooting, and welding.  Students toured parts of campus including the new Center for Agriculture & Natural Resources, and participated in demonstrations including fly-casting by members of SUNY Cobleskill’s chapter of Trout Unlimited.
