Family Math Nights add up to fun
Submitted by Janet Britton
Get ready to have “sum fun” at Family Math Nights at Burton Street Elementary School!
There will be four Family Math Nights this year. Parents, brothers and sisters will be able to play along and learn math activities from our math program at Burton Street. Activities will include games that use coins, ducks, dice, rulers, hula hoops, graphs, cards, and “geo-blocks.” Third- and fourth-grade students will be able to make 3-D space figures using toothpicks and marshmallows.

Look for a registration letter with more information to come home the week before your child’s grade level night. See you there!
Upcoming math nights (6:15 to 7:30 p.m.):
- Monday, March 4: Third and fourth grade.
- Monday, March 11: Second grade.
- Monday, March 25: First grade.
- Monday, April 15: Kindergarten.
