, a senior at Cazenovia High School, has been selected as Cazenovia Lions Club Student of the Month for November 2014
. Kimber is the daughter of Kelly and Craig Nourse of Erieville. The Lions Club Student of the Month selection is based upon exemplary school and/or community service.
Kimber sits at the end of the flute section of the Wind Ensemble, which is in the more advanced band. She is a “teammate” and leader for underclassmen in the group.
Kimber is an athlete who works very hard to do her best and is a role model for other athletes. In class she is always humble and strives to help others. Last year she stood up in French class and sang a song from “Les Mis”, which took courage and in so doing she was an inspiration to her classmates.
The Cazenovia Lions Club is pleased to honor Kimber for her leadership, initiative and impact on her peers.

. Shawn is the son of Heather and William Phillips of Canastota. The Lions Club Student of the Month selection is based upon exemplary school and/or community service.
Shawn has made significant improvements in attitude and academics. He has been involved in the Madison County Youth Bureau’s Leadership Group and has become a role model and leader of his peers.
The Cazenovia Lions Club is pleased to honor Shawn for his service to and leadership of his fellow students.
Student of the Month nominations can be made by students, school staff members, parents or community members. Nomination forms are available from the Assistant Principal’s Office at Cazenovia High School or from the Cazenovia Lions Club.
