January 22, 2021
Dear Cazenovia High School Parents and Families,
On Tuesday, January 26th, we will be administering the PSAT exam to the Junior Class. Due to this test administration, students in grades 8-12, and juniors not taking the PSAT exam, will participate in a Full Remote Learning Day on Tuesday, January 26th. In order to safely administer the exam for our 11th graders, we will need to use multiple classrooms and the High School Library for the majority of the school day. To allow for social distancing, the rotation of staff proctors, and to meet PSAT guidelines for test administration, we feel that this is the safest and most effective way to offer this exam on-site to our Junior students.
Correspondence regarding the PSAT test administration will be shared with all Juniors taking the exam and their parents, regarding test day details.
Transportation will be provided for all BOCES students attending classes in-person at respective BOCES locations on Tuesday. Please contact Mrs. Haube if your junior or senior BOCES student needs transportation arranged for Tuesday.
The High School Regular Bell Schedule will be followed for all classes on Tuesday, 1/26, for the Remote Learning day. Students will be expected to attend classes synchronously following their daily schedule. This Remote Learning Day applies to High School only.
We appreciate everyone’s flexibility with this pre-scheduled Remote Learning Day planned to safely accommodate this important PSAT test administration opportunity for our junior students.
Mrs. Molly Hagan
High School Principal
