Siobhan Fallon Hogan Brings the Drama to the HS Drama Club with Workshop for Beauty and the Beast, March 9-11

Last seen on the Cazenovia Stage in 1979 as “Adelaide” in the Cazenovia High School's production of Guys & Dolls, critically acclaimed actor, writer, comedian and producer Siobhan Fallon Hogan made a special trip back to her alma mater. This time it was to lead a theatrical workshop with the cast of the upcoming 2023 Cazenovia High School’s Musical Beauty and the Beast!

As if on cue, Fallon had the student actors in tears (from laughing) within minutes of her arrival. She shared stories from her days in the high school drama club productions, cheerleading mishaps and even her short stint at playing the French Horn. She gave nods and appreciation to the quality faculty she had at Cazenovia, noting the “dream team” of Bob Gregg, Bob Read, Sue Reade & Charlotte Wrebela. She hailed the spring musicals which she noted were her “life line” working with the production team of Director Jeanie Keefe, Music Director Peter Ciarelli & Scenic Designer Ron Luteran. She recalls doing shows at the Pavilion, The Pier and the High School during the summer months. In her case, the impact was life changing!

Siobhan found early success with guest spots on The Golden Girls and Seinfeld, and earned a spot in the cast of Saturday Night Live during the
1991-1992 season. More recently, Fallon Hogan has written, produced and starred in the films Rushed and Shelter in Solitude, both with numerous
shout outs to her hometown and community.

Fallon’s session with the student cast incorporated adventures in improvisation, time period/setting and character development all to enhance
their roles in the March production. She concluded with lessons she has learned in her acting career and how they have helped her find success in an incredibly competitive field. “Once a Laker, Always a Laker.”
