Board adopts 2024-25 District Safety Plan

The Cazenovia Central School District board of education adopted the 2024-25 District Safety Plan during a regular meeting on Monday, Aug. 12. 

The district and board of education evaluates the district safety plan each year in accordance with New York state’s Safe Schools Against Violence in Education (S.A.V.E.) Law. Having a comprehensive plan in place is a critical component of school management and student safety. 

The district presented the proposed plan to the board of education and held a public hearing during the July 8 board meeting. Public comments were collected through Monday, Aug. 12.
